- Top deck (Flo-Line Primer) effectively removes hydrated clays (gumbo) and large drilled cuttings
- Bottom deck ( FLC 2000) provides solids removal capabilities
The Cascade 2000 combines the benefits of Derrick’s revolutionary Flo-Line Primer with the time-proven solids removal capabilities of the Flo-Line Cleaner 2000 into a single, compact unit.
The top Primer deck utilizes a variable speed conveyor belt to effectively remove hydrated clays (gumbo) and large drilled cuttings. These sticky solids are difficult to remove with any type of vibratory motion; thus they are removed before they reach the linear motion shaker below.
The bottom deck of the Cascade 2000 is powered by two of Derrick’s Super G vibrating motors which produce a continuous high G linear vibratory force of over 7.0 G’s. This deck consists of an FLC 2000 three-panel shaker which is capable of handling the toughest drilling applications.
The bottom deck also features an AWD (adjustable while drilling) mechanism which enables the screen basket to be raised or lowered from -1° to +5° without interrupting operation of the machine. This allows for precise fluid endpoint control.
The Cascade 2000 is a component based system, allowing the two modules to be run independently if desired.
