The Cascade 500 combines the benefits of Derrick’s revolutionary Flo-Line Primer with the time-proven solids removal capabilities of the Flo-Line Cleaner 513 into a single, compact unit.
The top Primer deck utilizes a variable speed conveyor belt to effectively remove hydrated clays (gumbo) and large drilled cuttings. These sticky solids are difficult to remove with any type of vibratory motion; thus they are removed before they reach the linear motion shaker below.
The bottom deck of the Cascade 500 is powered by two of Derrick’s Super G2 vibrating motors which produce a continuous high G linear vibratory force of over 7.0 G’s. This deck consists of a FLC 513 shaker that, when combined with Derrick’s exclusive Pyramid screen technology, significantly improves solids separation.
The bottom deck also features a hydraulic-powered AWD (adjustable while drilling) mechanism, designed for quick easy deck adjustment, to operate from -1° to +5° without interrupting operation of the machine. This allows for precise fluid endpoint control.
The Cascade 500 is a component based system, allowing the two modules to be run independently if desired.
